The RMES (Resource Management Environmental Studies) Student Society is a student-led group that aims to enhance the grad school experience for all RMES students. It organizes social activities like Friday afternoon beers, barbeques and the annual Whistler trip. And it supports edifying activities like student Confabs, field trips, seminars, and even RMES (Resouces Management Environmental Studies) sporting teams. The student society runs a Facebook page to help students connect, share helpful information, plan events, and generally foster our community spirit. It also acts a liaison with the department and the outside world, representing student interests.
